The IEA Database Project has coded 152 "original MEA agreements" (i.e., treaties, conventions) and another 20 protocols and amendments in an effort to systematically identify particular legal clauses and institutional features. The first list below identifies codes used, with links to those agreements that have one or more paragraphs that meet the conditions for that code. The second list identifies coded agreements, with links to agreement texts marked up with codes assigned to all paragraphs.
